You can post a classified ad on Petfinder.
Petfinder is a website that provides a centralized location for shelters and other agencies to post adoptable animals. Although most of the dogs posted on Petfinder are associated with a shelter or organization, you can post a dog as an individual in the classified section. This section is specifically used for individuals to post lost, found, wanted and adoptable pets.
Instructions
1. Open your web browser and go to the Petfinder website, www.petfinder.com.
2. Click the "Classified" tab and then select "Post free pet classifieds."
3. Click the "Post a free classified Ad" link at the bottom of the page. Click "Post a Free Ad" at the bottom of the next page.
4. Log into your Petfinder account or register for an account. Click "Submit" after you've entered the registration information.
5. Fill out the classified ad form. You'll need to enter information like listing type, pet type, and a description of the dog.
6. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form and the classified ad is posted on Petfinder.
