Find Gently Used Toys For Kids

Kids outgrow toys quickly because their brains constantly develop and they need more stimulation with different toys. Instead of spending a lot of money to buy new toys, find some gently used toys to entertain your kids. They cost less than half the price and you can sell them when the kids lose interest.

Instructions

1. Look for gently used toys in good operating condition. Battery operated toys have short life spans due to the electronic components. Bring batteries with you when shopping for used toys that require batteries to test them out before purchase.

2. Purchase toys that are plastic or metal so you can efficiently and effectively clean them before your kids use them. Cloth toys and stuffed animals harbor germs that you can never fully remove. They pick up head lice, dander, dust mites and fleas.

3. Check with local daycare centers currently going out of business. They usually donate the toys or sell them at a discounted price. These toys are durable, in good condition and cleaned regularly.

4. Find toys that don't contain a lot of small pieces. The likelihood of something missing from the set is high because the pieces easily get lost. Action figures, Barbies, cars and rattles are great toys to buy gently used.
