Reset The Sims Complete Collection Avenues

When you delete avenues, called "neighborhoods," on The Sims Complete Collection, your families and houses will disappear. Accomplishing the task requires access to the memory folders storing your saved game. Deleting neighborhoods gives you a fresh start in building homes within your community. You can delete a single neighborhood or you can delete all of them.

Instructions

Single Neighborhood

1. Open the "Neighborhoods" folder on your computer. It is accessible by double clicking "My Documents," followed by "EA Games" and then "My Sims."

2. Select the neighborhood you wish to delete by clicking its folder once, without opening it.

Folder N001 is Pleasantview.

Folder N002 is Strangetown.

Folder N003 is Veronaville.

3. Drag the folder onto your desktop. To do this, hold your mouse button down while dragging the icon onto your desktop. Release the mouse button. Minimize the "Neighborhoods" folder to your task bar.

4. Replace the neighborhood you moved with a blank copy of the neighborhood. To do this, access the "EA Games" folder located in your "Program Files" folder. Double click "The Sims 2," then double click "TSData." Double click "Res," then double click "UserData." Double click "Neighborhoods." Find the folder corresponding to your neighborhood, labeled "N001," "N002" or "N003." Click on it once. While it is highlighted, press CTRL-C.

5. Return to your original window with the "My Neighborhoods" folder by clicking it on your task bar. Press CTRL-P. Your neighborhood has been replaced with a blank copy.

All Neighborhoods
