In the online pet adoption world of "Moshi Monsters," an owner can help their monster acquire a pet called a Moshling. Acquiring a Moshling requires that you grow a garden with certain plants that will attract it. Moshlings are divided into groups. Shelby, the turtle, is an Uncommon Moshling from the Ninjas group. His number is 039. To get Shelby you must successfully grow a Black Dragon Fruit, a second Dragon Fruit of any color other than black and a Magic Beans plant of any color.
Instructions
1. Click the "Map" icon in your monster's home or from a street view to go to the Moshi Monsters world map.
2. Go to the Moshling Garden beside your house and click "To Seed Cart" or go to "Main Street" and click on the "Moshling Seeds" cart.
3. Select two "Dragon Fruit" seed packets from the top row and one "Magic Beans" from the bottom row and then click "To My Garden" on the left side of the screen to return to the Moshling Garden, or click the "Map" icon and select "Moshling Garden" on the map.
4. Open your bag of seeds by clicking on the red "Seeds Bag" icon on the lower right side of the screen next to the tree.
5. Click and drag a Dragon Fruit seed packet to the first soil area in the garden and then release your mouse to drop it into the dirt. The shovel will plant it for you. Repeat this process with the second Dragon Fruit and the Magic Beans.
6. Leave the garden by clicking the door to your monster's house. Go elsewhere, play puzzles, talk with other players or exit the game to give the seeds time to grow.
7. Return to the garden periodically to check the plants and click the bird to learn if any Moshlings came by. If a Rox flower grows in place of the flower you originally planted, or you have two black Dragon Fruit plants, click on the flower and the box that asks if you want to dig it up the flower and then plant new seeds.
8. Wait for Shelby to appear and cross to the center of the screen when your garden finally has the correct combination of plants. Click on him to open a book that describes him -- facts, habitat and traits. Click the "Keep It" sticky at the bottom of the book page to get him as a pet.
