Restart "Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors 2"

The Nintendo DS game "Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2" makes use of a save file system whereby you cannot erase a saved game using the DS system tools. In effect, this makes it so you cannot restart a brand new game. However, there is a way to start a new game: you must corrupt your old save file. This is accomplished by exploiting the way in which the Nintendo DS saves data. Note that this process will cause no damage to your Nintendo DS or game cartridge.

Instructions

1. Press the "Start" button on your Nintendo DS to access the "Options" menu for "Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2."

2. Change any of the options presented in the "Options" menu and make note of what you have changed.

3. Press "Exit" to leave the "Options" menu.

4. Press the slide on the right-hand slider upward immediately upon exiting the "Options" menu, in order to power down your Nintendo DS.

5. Restart your Nintendo DS with the "Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2" game cartridge inserted. If you are given a "Save File Corrupted" message at startup, you have successfully completed the task. Start your new game from the main menu, and a new save file will be created.
