Cabins & Lodges In Ohio

Let's visit Ohio

Travelers visiting Ohio and looking to spend the night in something other than a hotel by the highway have plenty of choices. Stay in a lodge with its own water park, lounge in a hot tub in your own cabin in the heart of Amish country or relax on your balcony overlooking a lake.

Great Wolf Lodge

If you are looking to combine unique accommodations with the fun of an on-site water park, head to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, less than three hours north of Columbus. Visitors stay in suites that can accommodate 4 to 8 people and feature rustic decorations, coffeemaker, microwave, television and a small refrigerator. Guests can opt for a theme suite that allows kids to sleep in a cave or their own log cabin. The lodge offers many on-site dining options, such as a big breakfast at Lumber Jack's Cook Shanty, a quick lunch at the water park's Klondike Cafe and a casual dinner at the Gitchigoomie Grill.

On-site recreation includes the water park with its four story tree house/water fort, lazy river ride and water slides. The water park is for guests only, however, a limited number of visitor passes are available for purchase. If you wish to leave the lodge, explore the Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve or take a nearby ferry to Ontario's Pelee Island.

These couples-only fully furnished log cabins offer a fully equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator, dining area, living room, bedroom and a private hot tub on the back deck.

If you wish to leave the cabin, which is nestled in an Amish region, you can explore the neighboring communities. Hunt for antiques in Millersburg or hike in Mohican State Park.
