Make A Rubric Website

Make the rubric for your contest available on the Internet.

It's hard to compete when you don't know the rules. For that reason, when you hold a contest, you should make the rubric for the contest submissions available to anyone who wants to enter. The Internet provides an easy way to do this, and you can set up a rubric website for free.

Instructions

1. Open an account with a free blog provider. A blog (short for "Web log") is a user-friendly website that allows almost anyone to make a website, regardless of computer skill. Blogger, Wordpress and TypePad are popular free blog providers. Choose an account name that identifies you as the person running the contest (for example "shellystreats" if your company, Shelly's Treats, is holding the contest).

2. Give the blog a title that clearly identifies it with the contest. For example, title it "Shelly's Treats 15th Anniversary Dog Surfing Contest" rather than "Shelly's Treats". Choose a descriptive tagline as well, such as "The Official Contest Site".

3. Click the button to write a new post. A post is an entry in the blog. Title the post "Contest Rubric".

4. Type the rubric for the contest in the body of the blog post. Click "Publish" when you finish to post the rubric to the blog.
