Give your puppy plenty of play time.
Chocolate labs are a type of Labrador retriever. Labs are often employed as guide dogs, drug-sniffing dogs and search-and-rescue dogs. The lab is a friendly, active dog. Fully grown, a male lab can weigh between 65 to 80 lbs., while a female lab can weigh between 55 to 70 lbs, according to the American Kennel Club. Labs can be yellow, black or chocolate in color. When you're ready to bring a puppy into your life, look for a reputable breeder.
