Get Rid Of My Dog'S Pee Odor In The Yard

Eliminate dog urine odors to more fully enjoy your yard.

Dogs can be a significant addition to your family, but they require a lot of care and maintenance. They can also wreak havoc on your yard. Dog urine not only smells bad, but it can actually change your soil's pH and prevent your grass from growing. Encourage your dog to urinate elsewhere or or in several places in your yard rather than in one place. Purchase an odor-eliminating product specifically designed for removing urine smells from grass without damaging the plants.

Instructions

1. Mix the odor-eliminating product with water if the product comes in a concentrated form. Consult the manufacturer's instructions to determine how much water to use.

2. Pour the solution into a spray bottle.

3. Apply the solution to the areas that smell like urine. They may be your entire yard or it may simply be an area that your dog likes to use.

4. Let the solution sit according to the manufacturer's instructions. This could be several minutes or several hours.

5. Water the lawn as normal after this period.

6. Repeat the process in a few days if the smell is still noticeable.
