Greektown Visit


Explore a new culture and check out Greektown, an old haven for Greek immigrants from the late 1960s. The first Greeks immigrated to Chicago in the 1840s, and the culture's influence is found everywhere, particularly in cuisine. This area is popular with locals and tourists for the delicious food and can't-be-beat gyros, the Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center, and yearly festivities and parties.
