Problems Installing "The Sims Unleashed"

Released as an expansion pack in 2002, "The Sims: Unleashed" allows players to adopt cats and dogs for simulated people. In addition to adopting pets, players can still go through the normal "Sims" game play, guiding families throughout all stages of life. Though numerous problems can occur in a computer game, user error is generally the cause regarding installation. You can implement a few different methods should you have problems installing "The Sims: Unleashed."

Instructions

1. Verify that your installation disc does not have scratches on its bottom layer. A computer has difficulty reading damaged discs.

2. Wipe a smooth, dry cloth on the bottom portion of the installation disc. You must wipe the disc in a clockwise motion.

3. Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. To successfully install "The Sims: Unleashed," your system must run Windows 95 or later and have 1.3 gigabytes of hard drive space. "The Sims" or "The Sims: Deluxe" must also currently be installed on the computer, since "Unleashed" is just an expansion pack, not a stand-alone product.
