Rescue A Pug In Wisconsin

Rescued Pug

Wisconsin is home to the annual Milwaukee Pugfest. The Milwaukee Pugfest is designed to raise awareness for Pug Rescues in Wisconsin as well as promote responsible breeding practices. The plight of pugs raised in puppy mills and by breeders who are not dedicated to the breed and rather just over-breeding pugs for profit is brought to the forefront. The vast majority of all pugs in Wisconsin Rescues are there because of irresponsible breeders who do not take care of the pugs needs. Pugs are wonderful and loving companions. They make great family pets and are excellent companions even if you live in a dog friendly apartment. If you are in the market for a pug it is wise to consider a rescued pug from a shelter that serves Wisconsin such as the Midwest Pug Rescue.
